After closing on the former Hal Peterson Middle School property in 2022, the investment group of owners have been working to formalize plans for its development, which will include national retail stores, restaurants and residential units, as well as a boutique hotel.

Infrastructure planning and tenant recruitment continues for the Tivy Commons mixed-use development, even though the 25-acre property shows little sign of activity.

Tivy Commons developer Pete Moore is scheduled to be in Kerrville this week to meet with city officials to work out several remaining development and infrastructure issues before construction can begin on the property.
